Eugen Roesle, lic. iur. LLM, previously worked for Swiss Infosec AG, where he headed the Legal & Data Privacy Consulting department. Prior to that, Eugen Roesle worked for a commercial law firm and the Zurich University of Applied Sciences, amongst others, where he developed a flair for providing legal advice in the technology sector (specifically: software law and contract drafting). Another key focus of his work is data law, including AI and information security. His passion lies in devising practical solutions at the interface between technology and law. He regularly shares his knowledge as a speaker and course leader and is the author of various publications on data law. Eugen passed the Zurich bar exam in 2009. His professional qualifications include, amongst others: IAPP AI Governance Professional (AIGP), BSI ISO 27001 Lead Auditor and TÜV-certified Data Protection Officer with regard to the EU GDPR.

Christa Stamm, Dr. iur. LLM, built up the Data Protection Office at Zurich University hospital prior to joining byte legal. In this role, she gained extensive knowledge of the regulatory framework for data-based research and first-hand experience with governance of artificial intelligence. As former head of legal and information security with the Zurich Data Protection Authority, she is familiar with the supervisory perspective. Her career includes a decade as an associate in two law firms, with a professional focus on IT law and criminal defense in cybercrime and economic crime. Christa teaches in several courses, building on her strength in explaining legal and regulatory issues to a variety of different audiences. Clients appreciate her practical and pragmatic answers to complex problems and her readiness for interdisciplinary dialogue and constructive discussion. Christa passed the Zurich bar exam in 2007.

Jörg Eckardt, lic. iur. was head of legal and a member of the management board at the Zurich Data Protection Authority prior to founding byte legal. In this role, he gained deep insight into the project work involved in major digitalisation initiatives within public administration. Prior to this, he held the position of internal Data Protection Officer and Legal Counsel at the Zurich University of Applied Science (ZHAW). Jörg advises public authorities and private companies alike on all legal matters relating to digitalisation.
